Football anecdote no. 24

A plane carrying a football team crashes. The players end up right outside the gates of paradise. Peter scares them away: “There is no place for football players in paradise! Go to hell!” The team members walk sadly towards hell. Suddenly Peter calls out: “Is your quarterback with you?” “I’m here!” the man announces happily. “You can come in, son,” Peter kindly strokes his head. “I saw your last game—you’re not a football player...”
