Complete injustice

A depressed man – fired from his job, dumped by his wife, no money – meets his classmate in the city, who has become a very successful businessman. The latter hires him and gives him an assignment on his first day of work: “Here’s 200 euros for you. Go to the newsstand across the street and buy me a crossword puzzle magazine.” The man brings the magazine and hands the money back to his classmate, who gives him half back: “For bringing it!” And so it happens every day. The man’s money problems are solved, he soon leases a car and rents a fancy apartment, but he himself becomes darker and darker. “What’s wrong?” his friends ask him. “Why are you so sad?” “You see, I go to fetch the crossword puzzle magazine alone, but I have to split the money I returned with my bloodsucking classmate!”
