An idea that we will implement soon: A user will only be visible in the board game leaderboard if they have played a scoring game in the game room (not in a tournament) in the last 14 days. In addition, a general board game leaderboard will be created, where users are ranked by the average rating of 5 board games. A user will be able to enter this leaderboard if they exist in all board game leaders, i.e. have played all games in the last 14 days. What do you think?

I like this idea and I'm all for it!
It encourages people at the top of the rankings to play...and it's only good when good players play for us.
There are some negative aspects to this, though. If we set this period to be quite short, we won't get a good overview of the actual rankings, and the rankings will be much smaller.
Well - maybe 28 days would be the golden mean? Anyway, I think Vint's leaderboards should consist of ACTIVE players and 2 months is too long to play one game.

I would rather say 28 days, because 14 seems quite short. Especially when summer is about to start. You go on vacation or, for example, to the Renju World Championship and you're already out of the rankings :)
