Does anyone care how the moves are recorded in the current version and if so, what would be the correct way (the method used in tournaments)? Maybe someone wants to eventually copy the moves and analyze the game based on them?

It could be as stated in reality, that the 1st move is on both white and black, etc., somehow the current system is very unfamiliar!

International checkers could still have a correct marking system, i.e. numbers 1 to 50, 1 is located in the right corner of black and then the numbers increase from right to left, 50 is the corner stone on the right wing as seen from white.

It would also be nice if the numbers on the side of the board were changed to at least the ones on checkers, the current system is quite annoying, not to mention that the notation itself is quite blatantly wrong.

What's wrong with these numbers on the side of the table? I took one wax table and couldn't find any difference. The thing with the notation is that the current version suddenly seems more understandable to people (beginners)? Apparently, we need to find out with a poll how many people are bothered by the current system.

The notation of Russian checkers is based on the principle of 1. e3-f4 f6-e5 2. d2-e3 e7-f6 3. f4-g5 (in short, both the white move and the black move are marked on the same line) and if a pawn is captured, then the third line could be continued: 3. f4-g5 h6:b4 : denotes capture, and if there are several pawns to capture, then all the moves can be gone through and colons put in between. If the capture is self-evident, then the intermediate squares are usually not marked, but considering that we also have all the games recorded and to replay them, it would be easier if all the moves were fixed. In any case, that's how it should work. Comment those who know. TiiT

tohhoo the ghost when viewed from the white side of the board the top edge of the board are the numbers 6, 1, 7, 2, 8, 3, 9, 4, 10, 5 on the left edge from top to bottom 1, 6, 11, 16, 21, 26, 31, 36, 41, 46 on the right edge from top to bottom 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, the bottom edge has the same numbers as the top edge. no letters are used in international checkers and have never been used. and if you look at the notation itself, the beginning of the game on this page 32-27 17-23 37-32 12-17 31-26 6-12 43-37 etc. actually looks like 32-28 18-23, 38-32 12-18, 31-27 7-12, 43-38 etc.

Okay. I don't think I've ever seen an international checkers board before :) But based on the internet: Should the numbers be like this?
