What could happiness and a feeling of happiness be?

About a year ago, a nice Vindi user asked the same question. Thinking about the answer, I realized that there is no concrete answer to what seems like a simple question at first glance. Happiness cannot be defined. People are very different, it is not possible for different people to perceive happiness in the same way and under the same conditions. Happiness is and remains subjective. Personally, for me, happiness is something very genuine, simple, sincere and warm, which gives life ease and fills the soul with satisfaction. I will add here a poem by L. Tabur on this topic. What is happiness? Happiness is not a flashy and fiery aura in the noisy, species-rich din of the rainforest. Happiness is not a peacock's seductive tail, spread out like a fan for a proud love life. Happiness is not a ruler's conquering thought, evil arrogance, superiority, the joy of being trampled. Happiness is not a greedy, cunning business trick or an alcoholic drink carried away by anxiety. ........ Happiness is an inconspicuous nest in the shade of a tuft of grass, a joyful thriller in the blue sky, a simple table of food. Happiness is to be in the sun and in the shade by turns, to simply open up to life, to be a song itself. One must not hide in sadness for happiness. Happiness is a plant that constantly needs spiritual nourishment.

Very nice answer. Rose always succeeds at it. I share Rose's personal opinion about the nature of happiness and the last part of the poem. Regarding the first half, I think that most people have done this in their lives, with the aim of achieving satisfaction of the soul. However, these are relatively innocent inevitable parts of life that can be the cause of momentary happiness. Only with small downsides. The last half cannot exist without them.

Mask, Roose answered everything, and from this we can conclude that one person's happiness may be another's misfortune, but this is also subjective.

A few thoughts that seemed special. Happy is the one who does not look at the past. Happiness can only be in the present, but it still comes from the recent past. Another's misfortune does not make anyone happy, because it seems to be balanced with happiness. If we allow others to be happy, then it can probably happen to us too.

It's right to be happy with what you have. But first, you have to have something to be happy about. There's no point in being happy about not having anything.

Whoever is lucky, lives. Whoever is healthy, works.

Sunshine is directly related to happiness, namely it triggers the happiness hormones in us. Pleasant artificial light also helps to some extent. You can add more happiness additives that suit each person, such as the opposite sex, alcohol, etc. But it all starts with sunlight.

Without a doubt, the sun, air, and water, and all the conditions necessary for life, are an integral part of happiness.

Happiness should not be confused with mirage happiness, happiness born of delusion can always overshadow true happiness with dazzling images. No ordinary person is truly happy. To experience happiness, you must spiritually educate yourself to recognize happiness. (Or go through something difficult beforehand, but the understanding of happiness afterwards is not permanent.) Happiness was supposed to come three times in life: the first time you don't recognize it, the second time you pass by it, the third time it knocks on your neighbor's door :)
