So this can be solved on the logicmastersindia page and doesn't need to be printed out like step 2?

I can't say anything about the printing at the moment. That may still be revealed, so I'll let you know.

GP round 4 is now over and the results are available: http://logicmastersindia.com/2013/04S/score.asp It's great to see that more Estonians have managed to finish in the top 200 than before. Krubi and Park Chair are even close to the top 100, which already gives about 80 points in the GP standings. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the top 100 limits will also be met. For those who didn't participate, this much information is that it was a rather unpleasant round with a bunch of easier tasks and then 3 very difficult tasks, which took a lot of time from many solvers and quite a few didn't finish them on time and lost a lot of valuable points. It definitely messed up the overall standings. The next round is in 3 weeks (May 11-12) and the organizer is UK. Since the best solver in the UK went to the orcs of these difficult tasks and got a very poor result for himself and, in fact, posted some pretty harsh comments about the competition tasks on the forum, and considering that he will probably be one of the organizers and task setters in the next round, we can probably expect a much more reasonable round.

The date for Italy's event was announced and it was postponed a week after Turkey's (June 29-30). I also edited the first post regarding this.

The 5th round is organized by the UK and will take place from May 10-13. It will take place on the page http://www.ukpuzzles.org/ The detailed competition page is located at http://www.ukpuzzles.org/contests.php?contestid=30 Discussion about the competitions is held on the forum of the competition page, which is recommended to be browsed before starting the solution: http://forum.ukpuzzles.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=846 To participate, you must register on the page: http://forum.ukpuzzles.org/ucp.php?mode=register When registering, you must definitely give your full name and write that you are from Estonia (if you represent Estonia). Enjoy solving!

I would like to clarify that the 5th round can also be solved on Monday (May 14). At first, the competition page said that it would be over on the night of the 13th and the instructions said on the night of the 14th. I clarified and received confirmation that it will also be possible on Monday. I changed the time in the event calendar, the same has been done on the competition page. Thanks to Driv4r, who pointed out this error.

So, I went to the library specifically to solve this 5th stage (I even spent some money on it) and below I will write a little about this competition. This stage was mandatory for me, because I had missed the last 2 of the previous 4 stages and the 6 best results out of 8 count, so if I missed any more, the others would already have a significant advantage over me. Note that the competition is still ongoing (2 hours left), so I can't say any details about the competition sudokus, such as their difficulty level, etc. Also, some of what I wrote may be inaccurate, because the results are not available yet. There were 16 sudokus in total, 2 of which were quite classic, 1 with a special shape, 1 diagonal and the rest were different variants not found in Vint (you can check the competition instructions for more details or if you are interested but cannot check them, ask here). I solved the 4 above mentioned and also a connected 6x6 sudoku (2 6x6 sudokus, in which the numbers cannot be the same in any square). So I got 5 out of 16 done, which I was quite satisfied with, because in the previous stages I couldn't solve so many (and such a large part) if my memory serves me right. At the same time, I don't rule out the possibility of a typo, so it's possible that all 5 are correct (I checked some, but not all). 5 minutes were lost too, because the library closed at 20:00 and I went there just before 18:00 and started at 18:04, but during that time I wouldn't have solved anything, so in this case it really doesn't affect anything much. When I know the results, I'll write more in detail ;)

The results of the 5th GP can be seen here: http://www.ukpuzzles.org/final-results.php?contestid=30 This time 4 Estonians were among the top 200 (8 in total). However, there were surprisingly few participants compared to previous GPs (just over 300).

The instructions for the 6th round are available. http://www.worldpuzzle.org/files/35/uss2013-instructions.pdf The 6th round will take place from May 25 to May 28, so it may still be possible to solve it early Tuesday morning. And this time the organizer is the USA. The puzzles have been created by Thomas Snyder and Wei-Hwa Huang, who have been prominent solvers of sudoku and logic puzzles. There is currently no information on which page you can solve them, but perhaps this will become clear soon. The most important thing at the moment is what tasks will be coming. If there is new information, I will let you know.
