Hello, The new year has begun and, as has become a tradition, we take a look back at the past year and make plans for the year ahead. New games in Vint The year 2018 was very successful for Vint - we came up with two games: Džentelmen and Kunstitund, a drawing game. Džentelmen turned out to be significantly more popular than Kunstitund - while the card game was played for over 15,000 man-hours, only a thousand hours were spent drawing. Vint.ee Youtube channel At the beginning of last year, we opened our Vint.ee Youtube channel! Videos are also visible in the vint.ee environment under the menu videos. The most popular has been Solving 9x9 sudoku (327 views), the second most popular has been the video Sasku's game (310 views). We haven't added any new videos in the last six months, which reminds us that maybe it's time to make some new videos :)! Card game tournament series We started organizing tournament series in card games: 1) The Thousand Tournament Series in February gathered 235 participants! 2) The Sasku Tournament Series in September gathered exactly 200 participants. 3) The Bismarck Tournament Series in November gathered 104 participants. And today the 4-person perekidnoi tournament series starts! Other updates In the middle of the year, the well-known humorist Erkki Kõlu published a bunch of [URL=https://www.vint.ee/Anekdoodid/]Anecdotes on Vint. If you haven't read them, take a look! We made an important change to tournaments - now you can play 11-round tournaments with only two participants. This change has brought new life especially to Küünte and podkidnoi tournaments. There have also been significantly more tournaments with entry fees. At the end of the year, we created the opportunity to play Duo duels. In just a few weeks, almost 100 duels have already taken place. A selection of minor updates: 1) Free rounds in 4-player perekidnoi tournaments 2) Additions to the Thousand Tournament (time control and leaving the game) 3) regular users also got the opportunity to create game tables 4) All sasku fans can now see their card run 5) We brought back the minute time control in board games Quite a lot was done, we hope that our users are also satisfied with the work of the vint.ee team :)! Vint.ee in numbers in 2018 2305 users 8349 tournaments were held, with 2729 users. Popularity of games (in person-hours) 1) Sasku 50116 2) Tuhat 27120 3) Chess 22860 4) Sudoku 18994 5) Džentelmen 15346 6) Russian Checkers 12640 7) 4-player Perekidnoi 11968 8) Bismarck 10242 9) Duubelda 5478 10) Perekidnoi 5170 11) Crosswords 3830 12) Küned 1932 13) Gomoku 1826 14) Art Hour 1009 15) Entropia 938 16) Neli-rytta 170 17) Othello 124 18) Lines Of Action 62 As you can see, Sasku and Tuhat are still the most popular games. We are happy about this, the mental sports fields chess, sudoku and checkers are still at the top of the rankings. A total of 190,000 man-hours were played on the vint.ee portal last year! What will 2019 bring? Our last Gallup was won by Texas Hold'em and we have already started programming it. We hope to bring the game to vint in the first months of the year, but since it is a rather complex game, we will probably be polishing and fixing bugs in this game until the summer. Muuda Vint.ee bermesir There are ideas on what could be improved. We don't dare to allow another new game besides Texas Holdem, but we are happy to make minor improvements / additions. Here is a request to our users - write down your good ideas in the forum, read other people's ideas, comment and "like" topics - only in this way will topics that are really important come out and it will be easier for the vint.ee team to get to work! Finally - I would like to thank all vint.ee users for still visiting our environment to have fun. Special thanks also to our supporters and VIP club members - without you we would not be able to keep the portal running. Happy New Year! Marten Meikop Vint.ee Team
