Over the weekend, the Estonian II Fischer Chess Championship took place at the Tallinn Chess House as part of Vint.ee's birthday. The number of participants could have been larger, but the level of the participants was strong. The 7-round tournament was finished with equal points by Uku Valner and Sander Kukk. Uku Valner won the follow-up match 2-1 and became the Estonian champion. The tournament table can be seen here. In order to popularize Fischer chess in Estonia and Vint, a nightly Fischer chess tournament series (starting at 9:00 PM) has been launched. Happy chess playing, Vint.ee Team

Hi, I just found this news: http://ee.pokernews.com/uudised/2013/02/pommuudis-uku-parmupill-valner-teenis-sunday-million-voidu-e-7399.htm. Not that there are many similarities between winning a chess tournament and a poker tournament, but good luck from the Vint.ee team :)! And finally, those golden words again: Uku Valner is 22 years old, who learned to play poker at the age of 14. "Let's just say that you can't win such tournaments without a good card run," smiled a man from the Nemesis poker club
