Time reminder clock.

It is possible that the bell ringing is limited to two reminders. When playing with extra minutes, it can happen that the bell rings with every move. With a two-second interval between moves, you are essentially playing with a continuous bell ringing. Such conditions, in addition to the lack of time, put one player in a very unequal position in a game where one wrong move usually decides the fate of the game. A reminder bell ringing could also be pleasant. Even better if there was a choice. But without a reminder, you still don't notice the end of time.
The ringtone could really be better. I might think about it. Ideally, there would be a choice.
I don't understand why that bell should ring at the end. The first reminder at 30 seconds, the second at 15/10 seconds. When the second bell has rung, you know that time is short and you have to move faster.
I am completely in favor of changing the ringtone. At the moment, it's like a horrible Russian-style alarm clock. You're thinking about your next move and then when it starts to go off, you're so scared that you're almost out of all good thoughts :) Having a choice would really be the best solution, because people's tastes and desires are different. For example, I would like someone to whisper in a sweet voice 30 seconds before the time runs out, "Time is running out" or something like that :) There could still be ringtones at the very end, but softer ones, the panic is already there anyway, there's no need to amplify it :)
I forgot to add that in the ideal case, in addition to the ringtone melody, you could also choose a reminder time. Personally, I don't like these ringtones in the last seconds either, they are rather distracting and create unnecessary tension. Sometimes you really have to play 1/3 of the game in tournaments with 2 seconds, and then with the constant ringtone, the end games don't bear criticism again :) There is food for thought.

Maybe this procedure could be clarified. How can I use the new audio clip file? Maybe where should I save it?
First, provide a reference to the audio clip. We'll upload it ourselves so the game can use it.
