Hello, Today, the first stage of the Mental Sports Olympiad ended, 47 schools with 415 students participated. I will summarize the inter-school results: Tallinn Real School is leading in the primary school results in both checkers and gomoku. Tallinn Tõnismäe Real School is currently the best in chess, and Narva Vanalinn State School in solving sudoku. In the basic school results, almost all of Estonia is geographically covered: Viljandi Jakobson School leads in checkers, Kambja Basic School in chess, Aruküla Basic School in gomoku, and Pärnu Vanalinn Basic School in sudoku. At the upper secondary school level, Nõo Real School is trying to repeat last year's achievement (winning in three areas). They are also leading in the same areas now: checkers, chess, and solving sudoku. Gomoku, which is led by last year's winner, Tallinn Lilleküla High School, is missing from the full set. Hello, 55 schools with 555 students have participated in the Mental Sports Olympiad in the first two stages. Therefore, exactly the same number of students have participated in the first two stages as last year combined. Participants by discipline: 304 in checkers, 225 in gomoku, 219 in chess and 146 in sudoku. Individual classification In the primary school classification, Julija Bussel from Narva Vanalinn State School is leading in chess, in checkers Triinu Jalg from Oskar Lutsu Palamuse Gymnasium in gomoku, Markus Ikla from Tallinn Real School in gomoku and in solving sudoku Ardi Raag from Tallinn Real School. In the basic school classification, Karel Paan from Pärnu Vanalinn Basic School has emerged as the leader in chess, in checkers Merilii Jalg from Oskar Lutsu Palamuse Gymnasium in gomoku, Martin Hõbemägi from Tallinn Lilleküla Gymnasium in gomoku and Laura Olek from Tallinn Real School in sudoku. In the upper secondary school classification, Georg Abozenko from Tallinn Südalinna School leads in chess, Marko Tamme from Tartu Commercial High School leads in checkers, Argo Lillemaa from Tallinn Järveotsa High School leads in gomoku, and Kalle Klaos from Nõo Real High School leads in sudoku. Inter-school classification In the primary school level, the leading position in checkers changed - Kahtla Nursery-Basic School came first. In other areas, the situation is the same as after the first round: Tallinn Tõnismäe Real School leads in chess, Tallinn Real School leads in gomoku, and Narva Old Town State School leads in sudoku. The leaders in checkers and gomoku have not changed. The leaders in checkers are Merilii Jalg from Oskar Lutsu Palamuse Gymnasium and in gomoku Martin Hõbemägi from Tallinn Lilleküla Gymnasium, respectively.
