Mind Games Olympiad 2025/2026 - overall results

The fourteenth season of the Mental Sports Olympiad has come to an end. This year, over a thousand students from 85 schools participated in the competition. The most participants were from Viimsi School - 85!

Primary school results
There were a total of 561 participants in the elementary school, of which 61 students participated in all areas.
In the overall standings, Luis Lehto from Tartu Kesklinna Kool won, collecting 1,300 points and taking one minor victory - in sudoku, second place went to Mirell Hannioti from Tallinn Old Town Education College with 1,294 points, and third place went to Ruudi Johannes Õim from Miina Härma Gymnasium, who collected 1,116 points.

In the schools category, the Tallinn Old Town Educational College won.

Elementary school results
442 students participated in the basic school, of whom 86 participated in all subjects.
For the fourth year in a row , Mikk Kaarel Õim from Tartu Kesklinna School won with 1352 points. Second place went to Lennart Lehto, a student from the same school, with 1268 points, and third place came to Karl Samuel Leht from Püünsi School with 1204 points.

In the school category, Tallinn Science School won.

High school results
78 students participated in the high school level, 7 of them in all subjects.
First place was won by Oskar Treffner from Tallinna Reaalkool, collecting 1410 points and taking second place in three areas - gomoku, sudoku, crosswords. Second place was won by Carlos Püüding from Saaremaa Gymnasium, collecting 1340 points! Third place was taken by Siim Vatsfeld from the same school, collecting 1285 points.

In the school category, Saaremaa Gymnasium won.

We would like to thank Ants Soosõrvu once again, who has been promoting this competition in schools for years and who helps with the delivery of prizes in Tallinn schools.

Many thanks also to two-time world champion in Sudoku solving Tiit Vunk , who tirelessly checked all the Sudoku solutions and disqualified several who violated the rules.


Named medals and trophies will be delivered to schools no later than May!
