Hello, This year, 533 students from 50 schools played checkers in the Mental Sports Olympiad, which is six students more than last year. The most checkers were from Tallinn Pääsküla Gymnasium - 37. Let's summarize the results by age group. Primary School In the primary school category, 237 students from 31 schools played checkers. With a perfect score (three wins out of three tournaments), Priit Lokotar from Tallinn Pääsküla Gymnasium won overall, followed by Mairon Moisto from Tallinn Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium and Albert Pedmanson from Rakvere Vanalinna Kool. The best school was Tallinn Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium, represented by 17 students in this age group. Primary School 259 students from 36 schools competed in the primary school category. Mark Basarab from Peetri Lasteaed-Primary School was recognized as the best, followed by Triinu Jalg from Oskar Lutsu from Palamuse Gymnasium and Robert Antoi from Tallinn Pääsküla Gymnasium. In the school category, Tallinn Pääsküla Gymnasium won, represented by 19 students in this age group. Gymnasium 36 students from 15 schools competed in the gymnasium level. With full results (four tournament wins out of four), Artjom Afanasjev Nõo Reaalgümnaasium won, followed by Merilii Jalg Oskar Lutsu from Palamuse Gümnaasium and third came Karmen Vagula Tallinn Pääsküla Gümnaasium. In the school category, Nõo Reaalgümnaasium won, represented by 9 students. Medals and cups will be delivered to the winners in the first weeks of May!
