Hello,

This year, 1,021 students participated in the Mental Sports Olympiad. Considering the situation in the country (schools have been closed for several months), this is a very good result. It is great that students, while studying independently from home, find the vint.ee tournament rooms and want to come and rack their brains.

In addition - a record number of schools participated this year - 80 ! The most students (58) participated from Tallinn School of Science .

Let's summarize the overall figures by age group.

Elementary school
At the primary school level, 510 students from 62 schools participated.

Mikk Kaarel Õim from Tartu Kesklinna School won the primary school overall with a fairly solid result (beaten in sudoku and crosswords), collecting 1,402 points.
Second place went to last year's winner Henri Mugur from Tallinn Science School , who scored 1,300 points, and third place went to Taavi Toompark, also a student of the Science School, who scored 1,251 points.

The most successful school was also Tallinn Secondary School , represented by 37 students at the primary school level.

Elementary school
At the elementary school level, 432 students from 61 schools participated.

The winner was Gren Hõbemägi from Tallinn Old Town College of Education , collecting 1321 points. Rondo Mikko from Pärnu Mai School took second place with 1197 points, and Tuudur Jakob Padari from Tallinn Science School came in third.

In the school category, the winner was Tallinn Old Town Educational College , represented by 30 students at the elementary school level.

Gymnasium
At the high school level, 63 students from 13 schools participated.

Marc Joosep Tähiste from Tallinn 32nd Secondary School won (1350 points), Kristjan Hansen from Nõo Secondary School of Science took second place (1335 points), and Otto Tuuling from Saaremaa Secondary School of Science came in third.

The most successful school was Saaremaa Ühisgümnaasium , represented by 15 students.

Congratulations to the winners, thank you everyone for participating, and see you next school year!

NB! Medals and trophies will probably be delivered to the best at the beginning of the new academic year, where they can be presented at a ceremony.
