Hello, This week the 12th World Sudoku Championship took place in Bangalore, India. Defending champion Tiit Vunk took 2nd place, narrowly (3 points) behind Japan's Kota Morinishi (4890 points). Third was Qiu Yanzhe from China. For the first time in the history of the competition, there were no play-offs - the winner was determined in an 18-round main competition. In the team competition, Estonia took 15th place! A total of 212 sudoku enthusiasts from 35 countries participated. Congratulations to Tiit!
