We have received signals from many sources that online Sudoku could be played on vint.ee. Since I have played Sudoku a few times in my life, I decided to raise the topic to discuss the possibilities of playing with Sudoku enthusiasts. I researched what opportunities two people have to compete with each other in Sudoku and came across the page houseSudoku . Considering what I saw there, I would suggest the following ideas: 1) Sudoku would be treated like other board games (inviting to a game works the same way as in other board games) 2) Two players play against each other, filling the same Sudoku board. 3) Each correctly proposed number gives one point. The user who has collected more points to fill the board (guessed more numbers) wins. 4) I don't know how much added value bonus point systems or the like create, but one point could be deducted for a wrongly proposed number (otherwise, people will start bidding on these numbers in droves). 5) The rating system would be the same as in other board games (only the result of the game, win/loss, counts, not the number of points collected during the game). What do you think of these ideas and are there any sudoku enthusiasts at all?

I again think that since sudoku is more of a pastime game that is generally not played against opponents (rather alone and for speed), then sudoku could be for solving alone/passing time, just for practicing/wracking your brain. There would be different levels of difficulty/board sizes/etc. and rankings would be compiled according to the speed of solving the puzzles. What do people think?

www.karu.ee is a website where you can compete with each other in solving sudoku. There is a competition against time and with different levels of difficulty. The same could happen here.

I would be in favor of a two-way solution.

I would be interested. From a purely practical point of view, I would prefer to solve it alone, because then you could play whenever you want (you don't have to wait for someone to bother to become your opponent).

We are currently developing Sudoku. I can't say the exact date yet, but it won't be long. Soon, soon!

I would still like it if I could play both in Ajaveite and online under games.
