posted by Meikop Yes - in the last two months new winds have started to blow: * "timeseal. a time detection mechanism that determines the time spent on a move, i.e. takes network latency into account. and only then calculates whether the move (for example, checkmate) took place within the allowed time or was hopelessly late." - implemented!
Better late than never - or thanks! :d My thoughts on improving Vint.ee chess

For starters, chess could also include a game called surrender. Some could also do a checkers tournament called surrender, not just surrender. Then chess could even become more popular (:
Suicide as a chess form will probably be solved relatively soon. More interesting variants are wild/2. Although I understand that alternative variants are played relatively little, perhaps their ratings should be separate. Currently, quite often some users invite to some alternative form, which the inviter knows that the opposing player does not master, in order to then increase their "rating". It is also inattention on their part... but by doing so twice, at least from my side such a player is guaranteed noplay in any modification. I will not name names.
