Gomoku/rendzu doubles tournaments in Sürgavere

On 14-15.02. pairs tournaments in gomoku/rendzu took place in Sürgavere near Viljandi. "In pairs" meant that a pair played against a pair and moves were made in turns, and the partner was not allowed to be consulted. The selection of partners was done by drawing lots, but the stronger and weaker players were placed separately. Such competitions are quite fun, you never know what will happen next at the table :). 30 players participated. The first three of the 1st tournament were: 1.
