Arvo Rist became the Hiiumaa champion in 64-square checkers

8 men participated in the Hiiumaa MV 64-square checkers held at the Kärdla Cultural Center on Saturday. Arvo and RAivo Rist finished with an equal score of 12 points. The better coefficient gave Arvo first place. Taivo Rist took third place (9 points).

So, in Hiiumaa, there is one family ruling the game :)?

Unfortunately, that's how it went this time! The stupid losses in the first two rounds were decisive in order to beat Taivo! A draw between us would have divided us, with the odds, I don't know who would have won then!:) So again 4th place! The saying that 4th place is no place is true!:-) The draw with Arvo offered me the greatest satisfaction, a little compensation for 4th place!:-) Then again and better next year!:-)
