And if your Rabapalm internet and power goes out, are you happy when your points are taken away?

To be honest, I haven't tried it yet, but at least as a VIP you couldn't leave the tournament a year ago, I think they kept three rounds! and the rating points were counted! Which means that you were still drawn into the rounds and weren't allowed to leave, at least for 3 rounds, and you still couldn't play anymore once you had given up. Some people should still remember that?!

Mets: Official Vindi tournaments are for those who like the Swiss system (like me). This system is intended for a large number of participants and with up to 10 participants (so-called on the border) there is no point in implementing such a system! Mets may like it because this system is 1 big lottery in terms of average places anyway. The first end comes out more or less fairly and the last ones - a real mess in the middle and of course the Mets user likes such things, where you can catch fish in murky water :D . And from the sentence that you would rather not participate where you have to play all the rounds, you can also read your attitude! Just pure slander, nothing else and still someone with normal thinking could help with better offers, so that if 7 people are present by the start of the tournament, why should you play 4 rounds in an official tournament after all!

Let's assume that with 8 or fewer players, the round robin system is used, and with 9 or more players, the Swiss system is used. The tournament starts with 8 players in the round robin system. During the first round, 1 to 5 chess players are added, and the tournament should be in the Swiss system instead. What should we do? It's hard to program the swamp palm according to its wishes, but maybe it will pay the programmer's salary

I made a chess tournament for 30 days, which starts at 8:30 PM and the thinking time is 5 min 2 sec.

Metsala, no latecomers allowed, at least when there are less than 10 participants at the right time, simple! What's the point of coming for the 2nd round at all!?

My chess tournaments have 21 rounds and all rounds are played to the end, a 10 minute delay is allowed, but it does not affect the result in a long tournament. Anyone who does not like Swiss system tournaments, come and try it, starting at 8:30 PM and so on for 30 days in a row.

I have to repeat that many have lost their functional reading skills and understanding of things in general. Why clutter up the tournament schedule with a completely pointless arrangement, let alone allow someone to be a VIP! No one but Mets can like a situation where 7 rounds are announced, there are 7 or 8 participants and sometimes 4 rounds can be played. Why play an idiot, Mets! You know as well as anyone who has been involved in organizing tournaments that tournaments in the Swiss system are only played when the number of participants is so large that it is not possible to use another system in terms of time. So, if you want to act like a human being, then improve your tournaments to 7 rounds and maybe some players will come, provided that there is still a round robin system, not some strange absurd system where the full number of rounds is played, but everyone still can't play each other! There is no point in devaluing the idea of the original post, because many are really unhappy that the full number of rounds in official tournaments often cannot be played precisely because of people who leave halfway through.

My tournament is for those who want to play 21 games in one tournament. There was a 3-hour blitz tournament on lichess.org with a thinking time of 5 0 and over 1600 players. If you don't like this tournament, don't come there and keep complaining.

I'm not complaining, I just want things to be resolved in a more logical and consistent way according to the mental sports portal! Demagoguery and comparing the incomparable to the incomparable will not help in any way. The main problem, of course, is the number of participants, but to offer tournaments lasting over 3.5 hours every night on this site and in the summer, knowing the situation here very well, is pure pollution or even mockery. The goal is to be able to complain afterwards: you see, at the suggestion of the bog palm, I offered tournaments where the number of rounds was full, but no one came, so the Swiss system is better. Typical Metsa demagoguery. No one still answers the question: does the correct round system work, where everyone plays with everyone else? When I organized it myself, it didn't work.
