Chess with a computer (Stockfish)

Hello,

You could play chess with a computer in Vint.
I started researching the matter and the initial idea is as follows:

1) I install stockfish on the server
2) I integrate my java game server to use it. Sample code from the internet

Is all the complexity in generating the FEN code and reading the responses?
Has anyone ever done something similar?

There are 20 difficulty levels to choose from, but they probably still need to be tweaked.
