Nakayama Tomoharu wins World Renju championships 2025!

Hello,

Yesterday, World Renju Championship 2025 ended in Brno, Czechia.

During 7 days, a round-robin final tournment was played between 12 players. 
Games were played with Taraguchi-10 opening (you can play the same opening in vint.ee!) and with time control 120min + 30s/move.

The results were extremely tight: 4 players scored 7.5 points and top 3 were decided by tiebreak. 

The winner was Nakayama Tomoharu from Japan. Nakayama is also active player in vint.ee under sandersonia username: He is organising Renju tournaments in vint.ee every Saturday at 12.00 GMT.
Second came Mei Fan from China and third was Kamiya Shunsuke from Japan.
