Ants Soosõrv and Marek Kolk became Estonian champions in the mind games multi-sport competition

On January 2-3, the Estonian Mind Games Pentathlon Championship for pairs took place in Tallinn, at the Kullo Entertainment Center. The disciplines were sudoku, chess, bridge, gomoku and checkers. The winner was the well-known poker player Marek Kolk paired with Ants Soosõrv, introducing himself as a versatile mind gamer. The developers of the mind game portal vint.ee, Marten Meikop - Tiit Vunk, came in second place, and Eino Vaher - Gert Elmaste, third place. Several luminaries of their fields were present, such as checkers player Kaari Vainonen, chess player Tatjana Fomina, bridge pair Marko Kolk - Olavi Oja, etc. The winners of the disciplines were: sudoku: Ain Salula - Madli Mirme; chess: Eino Vaher - Gert Elmaste; bridge and gomoku: Marek Kolk - Ants Soosõrv and checkers Marten Meikop - Tiit Vunk. The best female pair was Kaari Vainonen-Kertu Urgand.
