It's time to start the year-round competition again - Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year 2015. This time, some rules have changed a little, but the participation principle is the same. It's worth taking part, because both the number of finalists and the prizes are 2 times larger than last year. Rules: • All Vint.ee users (not mindoku.com users) can take part. • You get 1 point for each daily sudoku solved to the end. • You get 1 point for each daily sudoku won. (If a foreigner wins the daily sudoku, no one gets a point for winning) • At least 1 daily sudoku must be solved every month. • Daily sudokus solved between January and November are taken into account. • The number of solved and won daily sudokus is added up monthly for each user and at the beginning of December the 20 best solvers are calculated based on these numbers. • The top 20 will have the opportunity to participate in three final tournaments (easy, medium and hard) in December. • Participants in the final tournaments will receive points in each tournament separately according to their places. (First place in the tournament 1000p, second place 950p, third place 900p, ..., nineteenth place 100p and twentieth place 50p.) So, by participating in three tournaments, one person can get a maximum of 3000 points and a minimum of 150 points • Points collected in the finals will be added to the user's existing score (number of daily Sudokus number of daily Sudokus won). • Final score = number of daily Sudokus solved (January-November) number of daily Sudokus won (January-November) points collected in the first final (easy) points collected in the second final (medium) points collected in the third final (hard). • After the three finals, we will calculate the points of everyone in the top 20 and find the top three. Prizes for the best users (which have been set by me and another good user): 1st place – 6 months of free VIP status and the title of Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year 2015 2nd place – 4 months of free VIP status 3rd place – 2 months of free VIP status In summary, changes from last year: • Only Vint.ee users are allowed to participate (last year this rule did not exist and before the finals I also tried to contact some mindoku.com users, from whom unfortunately I did not receive a response). • The number of finalists is half as large. • The points awarded for final places have changed (the difference in places is 50 points, previously 100 points). First place in each tournament will still receive 1000 points, just like last year. • PRIZES are half as valuable (and durable). An updated table with current standings will be posted here at the beginning of each month no later than the 10th. Good luck, have a happy New Year, and an even better New Year, and keep solving!

Ok, is there nothing else you need to do to participate except do daily Sudoku puzzles? No need to register separately?

You just have to solve the daily puzzles every month. No other registration is required, yes.

I guess it's a cheap offer, but I like it... some kind of tournament offered by a guy where you have to do, for example, 14 sudos as part of the competition, like in the daily boiler... let's have some time... choose the organizer

A little skinny might be true, but not too fat would be good either, e.g. the risk of cheating would increase ;) Overall, it seems like a good competition again, and although I was eliminated last year because I didn't solve any daily problems in the 4th or 5th month, I'm trying again this year! :]

Oh, what a beautiful table! (y) And I can say this much about my 1st month, that I've made an average start ;) Because 82nd place out of 164 is as average as it gets.
