The Tallinn 2008 international draughts tournament ended in Tallinn. The winner was former world champion Guntis Valneris, scoring 13 points out of 18 possible. The 3-time former world champion Anatoli Gantvarg came in second, scoring one point less. Dutchman Hein Meijer came in third, thanks to better distribution criteria.
