Version 3 of the Thousand Tournaments is up today. We hope it suits everyone. I'm also closing this topic here. No one will be able to read this kilometer-long thread anyway. Please post new ideas in a new topic!

I will also write down the principles according to which points are awarded: 1) When comparing the winners of two bids, the amount played by both is taken and the points are subtracted, how much the player gave away when playing out. In other words, it is not worth giving trump cards to others and when playing out, the maximum result must be obtained. 2) When comparing two defensive positions, only the amount played out is compared. It does not matter whether the winner of the bid played out or not, because it largely depends on how much the winner of the bid dared to bid. And we wanted to get rid of this dependence. 3) In the case of the defensive position and the winner of the bid, the comparison is made on the same basis as when comparing two defensive positions. 4) Results in which the difference is less than 20 are considered equal. There is a possibility that we will change this number to 15. In conclusion: The goal is to get the best possible result with your cards. Regardless of how much someone at my table dared to bid or how much was offered at other tables.

I also posted a description of the tournament's scoring system on the Thousand Rules page.

4) Results where the difference is less than 20 will be considered a tie. There is a possibility that we will change this number to 15. So which one is valid for now?

15, I fixed it.

I like the current system - it requires courage and cunning from the provider and very good cooperation from the defenders

Four nines in a thousand shouldn't give you 100 points when you're on the board. Right now, the limit is 880, it should be 800.
What do you think?

The botch itself should be 880, then everything would be fine, I don't know where the 800 lamps came from! The four "9" rules should be adjusted altogether. 1) you must also count if you get a fourth from the ground 2) you can get 100 points if you are dealt a fourth 9 3) if there are 4 nines before the "spurs", then you must be able to take this into account when making a bid (the same as a whole cross), but when dealing cards, you must not give away any "9" from your hand in this case! 880 "botch" is completely logical and has been played like this for a lifetime and in any case would make the games here more normal and shorter. If you want to get "100" for a 4 and a nine as the winner of the bid, then you must not distribute them! These suggestions have been made a long time ago, but here rarely, if anyone reads them at all; much less approves them. Considering today's session, waiting for 20 votes in favor of proposals is also quite hopeless, and even then it's not certain that it will be of any use!
