The extinction of a thousand tournaments?

Lately, it's rare to see 2-3 tournaments taking place in an evening and they have practically minimal number of participants. What has happened that just a few months ago, the most popular tournament, where people often played until the early morning hours or there were always more than 20 participants at least, has become a complete outsider? What started it, was the reason not the most successful series tournament, or something else? What do you think, those who used to participate in almost every tournament and not only at the peak here at the end of last year/beginning of this. But even before that, the cancellation of tons of tournaments was a very rare occurrence.
it depends on many things...the decline in popularity, no one is joking, no one does more tournaments than 1 a day...you have to pay......and I don't think VIPs can do tournaments anymore and if they do, they don't get ratings, which doesn't offer any pressure, and it seems that there are fewer VIPs either, many people ordered them for a cheaper price and I think there will be even fewer...I personally paid eight euros for a VIP, that was the limit for me, I could have had a VIP every month...I think I mentioned it somewhere...9.5 euros is too much in my opinion...50 percent increase in price at once...no thanks...I gave up being a VIP user in general,,,,
It was the series tournament that ruined it.
A new game came out and the same thousand players moved away. In addition, the series that emerged was not interesting and in addition the VIP price increase. You can't underestimate spring fatigue. You just don't feel like playing 3-4 tournaments in the evening anymore. I believe that the number of players will increase towards autumn, but the former popularity of the thousand tournaments will not be achieved. The problem with Vint is that there are simply too few Estonian players. And they are divided between different halls. But the games are unknown to most of the rest of the world.
Rather, it changed to the point that without a bonus, you could only play one tournament per day and the prices went up.

We have significantly more wins than a month ago, so this argument doesn't apply. posted by uduputukas Rather, it changed that without a win, you can only play one tournament per day and the prices went up.
After this rule, tons of tournaments continued for quite a long time, so don't tell me.
Failed average calculation (system) and wasted thousand, new game, point also lost, Best tournament players; this does not show the real situation, where 5 points are better than 15

I think it's a combination of things. All sorts of restrictions and the increase in VIP prices definitely gave a good boost to the fact that the thousand tournaments have sunk into deep mud.
Of course, there are more VIPs now because everyone bought VIPs for a cheap price. If credit had become more expensive, you could write that users have more credits than ever before. I also think it's a combination of things. I lost interest when it became popular among players to leave opponents at 60. Even though the tournament scoring system should show the courage to bid, success comes more from silence.
