I've also made a payment, there shouldn't be a problem, who am I to buy, I'm also hellish12
Yes,
As I mentioned, not everyone needs to start sending pictures of their document.
However, many people don't realize that verification means that your name becomes visible to other verified users.

This is completely wrong, because someone who is verified here can use this information elsewhere - and verification does not give any greater rights over other personal data! Since in the correct profile format, the so-called hidden data lines contain quite meaningless things that the user should not hide, then there is 1 option (if there is no room to add 1 more line) to put the real name there and it is important that the pseudonym cannot be linked to the real name, or rather it must be the user's free will. If there are such tournaments where you have to appear under your own name, then again there must be free will, whether the user allows it to be seen! So elementary, but why don't people want to understand it! That is why many verified people later voted against verification, because they were not informed that their alias and real name could be seen immediately! There are many different reasons, many of which have already been given here as individual ones, why this is completely wrong and also illegal! A few examples: employer-employee relations; teacher-student, etc., etc. I know a lot of teachers who have pseudonyms on Instagram, Facebook, etc. for various reasons.
So logical solutions have been proposed. Another example is that if I go to an official live tournament, I will perform there under my own name, not as a bog palm (not allowed). Similarly, in local championships, etc., those who are verified can participate, but do not have to show their alias. Many teachers here may not want to show their real name when playing cards or do not want their employers to know about certain hobbies of theirs during working hours :D - in which case they would not be able to show the required name at official tournaments again, because the alias would be immediately visible. In my opinion, Soosiim gave good examples, that you can't be afraid of all the dangers that arise in connection with googling!

To repeat here, Soosiimu's wording:

Another thought. In connection with the disclosure of the name, there is a possibility of e-stalking. For inexperienced social media users, this means the spread of unwanted information. It took me a few minutes today to find the fb accounts of some verified users and through them discover facts about their private lives. These may not be a secret, but has everyone thought about it? If we are talking about chat room abuse here, then this possibility creates an additional opportunity for cyber harassment on a much wider level.

During the Soviet era, verified comrades, along with their names, photos, and dates of birth, were displayed on "plaques of honor" in front of police stations, and passersby could view them.
Has everyone really gotten tired and accepted that verification has been done worse than under Stalin! Your pseudonym is also linked to verification. I'm sure that those who were lured into verification were not informed that their username can be seen along with their real name! How is it possible nowadays that you participate in an official tournament, but you also have to disclose your pseudonym. Moreover, in a tournament officially financed by the chess federation, for example!? The argument that only verified users can see this connection is completely irrelevant, because it has no meaning!
I'm happy, why whine :)
Consequently, you have not encountered cyberbullying, you do not work in a public institution, and you are a very decent person who does not do anything extraneous during working hours! :)
And what are you, Katre, happy with!? Is it that your identity is associated with your alias without asking your permission. Apparently you just haven't come across the issues that such an approach entails!? You could say right from the start that if you join, then I'll play under a name, which is why usernames are needed at all. It's necessary because not everyone wants to show in public what they do privately - this should be a completely normal understanding in a democratic society. Many teachers I know don't want their students to start terrorizing them for participating in some gaming site. It's not complicated that a user here can choose for themselves what data other users see about them and what not!! Vint.ee knows anyway!! I don't understand how an environment dealing with mind games can be so cruel
Swamp post: why can't you like or dislike it?
And, period, no 20 or so votes in favor. Pure mouthing. Writers can use pseudonyms, even during the Soviet era. Long live the true Aryans! All innovations should still be carried forward somewhere. Chewing on your feeding hand or sawing off the branch you're sitting on doesn't exactly show special talent. I mean those VIPs who don't want to present themselves publicly...
No first posts on makeup either?
Solely decided
You could at least leave the right to speak between players at your own table, a deaf person can't even say hello, or some VIP just lets the time run but you can't make a comment,
Anyway, for me, this is the worst decision in 10 years...
