User verification on the Vint.ee portal

What are you talking about? VIPs are allowed to communicate both in the forum and in chat rooms. Even unverified ones.
... not to mention regular users. It clearly shows: keep your mouth shut and continue to earn/play, to paraphrase Švejk . If the so-called verified players are currently participating in an official tournament not organized by Vind, then in the game room there is a mess between the table and the game tables, i.e. 1 name on the table, another name during the game/playing. Why do we need such a circus? I agree that if the official Estonian MV in some area is organized by Vind, then the players will appear there with their real names.
The idea behind the current update is to separate Verified VIPs and Unverified VIPs and their rights/needs. A lot of confusion; instead of fixing and fixing the functional errors and some - for example, chess - shortcomings that have been present in some games for years, so that an international tournament can be seriously organized.

Examples of mouthing:
1: I'll add some more good thoughts - for a while, only verified users will be able to communicate in the game room and forum.
2. Only verified and VIP users can communicate in the chat room and forum
I'll also add one good thought: when you write for money or under your own name, you may not get/see/hear good thoughts at all.
I will definitely continue to be a Vindi user because here you can play original Estonian-language/liked games if necessary and hoping that you can also chat with friends, which could be a nice motto for Vindi, that it is a nice meeting place. Unfortunately, the latest developments here do not show this and I want to say that all motivation to improve the environment here has disappeared! We mark verified people without anyone asking if they want it! Very confusing and confusing about names, usernames and their use in games, tables
So why not do it at the beginning and also agree that it's 1 and your own name, not a username! Simple, gaming sites are games and I believe that most players don't want everyone to see their real names! Then look through all the gaming sites in the world and tell me where they do it so that you can only talk if you are publicly using your own name. I believe that 95% of the sites wouldn't require any verification, because commercially it would lead to losses! I don't understand where these "good" thoughts come from, at least not from a mind game site! Even if many users here don't dare to choose sides here, it's completely absurd to forbid a so-called regular user, who may have useful suggestions or thoughts at all, to speak here, in Vindis. In fact, in light of the latest updates, I conclude that the direction is international and hence the proposal to create a separate section for Estonians, not mandatory, but where they could be free and could also speak freely...

I don't think any NGO should collect pictures of ID cards or passports.
I understand that you have to use your own name at official tournaments, I agree. But what about those countless rascals who go around playing cards (myself included) and occasionally play some mind-blowing game, why do their names have to be out there? I have no problem with my name and I am responsible for my words, but at the moment it remains unclear why it has to be publicly displayed, or rather, what does it achieve? And why complicate things with some kind of double accounts, when you can simply create an additional widget for the user to "show/hide real name"? Then you could define yourself according to your wishes or needs. And in this regard, the forest is right that the handling of personal data is a strictly regulated issue and such things are not done just for the sake of it. This is because a copy of the document transmits sensitive information, which if it falls into the hands of a malicious person can cause a lot of problems (email accounts, websites and forums have indeed been hijacked). https://www.riigiteataja.ee/akt/12909389
The old law on the subject of sex, currently this is the Personal Data Protection Act – Official Gazette
I won't argue about whether verification is necessary or not, but I can't agree with how it's done. In my opinion, there are much more secure ways to do this than sending a photo of a document to an email address.
First of all, many websites that want to personalize users do so by creating an option on their website to log in with an ID card and thereby personalize themselves.
Second. If I have personalized myself, then my name is visible to the admin in any case. Does it also have to be visible in full to every vint.ee player? In those tournaments where participation with your full name is required, an addition can be made to the tournament rules that in order to participate, you need to show your real name to everyone who wants to.
Thirdly, Vint.ee should have the option to change its rules if necessary so that the rules require that you enter a real name in your profile. This would allow you to block players under false names (more like a law enforcement agency than a vint) or players with fictitious names.

Well, you don't have to. VIPs don't have to reveal their real names on their profiles. But since they've purchased their status through a bank link, the Vint.ee team at least knows their identity.
Additionally - life shows that the users who help keep this portal running (I'm talking about VIP users) are much more polite and there have been no problems with them in the chat rooms.
It's nice that you have to lift your wallet to say hello to someone in the game, and you also had to pay to write it at all. In a week, when the VIP is over, I wish that Meikop would delete this account altogether. If you have to pay for politeness, then it's probably not necessary at all. Anyway, complete disappointment, where did it end? And a passport or ID picture is absurd, I guess only simple-minded people send it, in fact, they could also ask for fingerprints.
