If the net happens to disappear during a tournament, then in my opinion it's nonsense to pass under a ban for a week. I would suggest that if a player leaves, then 2 games after leaving, the game goes into the rating calculation and after that he gets minuses, his opponents get pluses. This would be in official tournaments. In self-made tournaments where the rating does not change, he would simply get minuses, and his opponents get pluses.

I would suggest that if a player leaves, then 2 games after leaving, the game goes into the rating calculation and after that he gets minuses, the opponents get pluses from him. Maybe that's right, but maybe it is also possible that during the 2 rounds that still count for you, you will still be able to appear again in the tournament? At the moment, if the net were to disappear just before the start of the round, everything would be over, would that allow you to still come back in the middle of the game?! That would perhaps also reduce the number of people leaving? And maybe it is also possible to join after the start of the 1st round with a minus. Is it your own fault that you were late and start with 0?

It would also be completely fine if at least during the 1st round the players could regatta for the tournament.....I think I've missed 5-6 tournaments myself... or maybe 1-3 minutes late. Late regattas would be made to play against each other...or something would have to be done to fix it.

There is a solution for this - VIP users can register for the tournament during the first round. The first round will be charged 0.

Would it be possible at all: If someone who plays in a tournament and leaves at some point: Then 1. He cannot register for any other tournament as long as the tournament he left is still running. 2. It is not possible to register for two tournaments at the same time.

...in my opinion a good solution would be ... it would eliminate any running from tournament to tournament, if the first one went wrong..(for example)
