Let's summarize the updates that have been added to Vint in the last few days: 1) All online users can be seen in the large hall 2) Private chat can also be started from the large hall and it also works between rooms 3) It is more convenient for VIPs to restart the game (if the game replay with changed colors previously worked when creating a game board, now it also works when inviting to play) 4) We were able to increase the speed of Sudoku generation by 10 times. In addition, bugs were fixed in the portal: 1) Checkmate detection when changing a pawn 2) Error in entropy when time runs out 3) Bug fixes in the Sudoku tournament rating system You are welcome to comment on the updates!

The checkers bug is being fixed so that combinations can be used. If you take a round, the captured piece remains in front and you can't finish, I've lost a lot because of this bug. On a real board, you pick up the piece in front and everything is fine, but here you can't. This is a serious bug!

Hi Minuteada, the rules of checkers say that pieces are picked up from the board after the end of the move - that's why the captured piece remains in front and that's how it should be. Those who know better can comment. For clarity: Maurus, find one of your games where you had a similar situation and copy the link here. I would check the situation exactly just in case.

Pieces are removed from the board after making a move. For example, if you have an opponent's piece in front of you, you may not remove it before the end of the move. This can especially happen in International Checkers, where the board is larger and captures can be longer. Often, this very fact is used to move the opponent's piece to a position from which you could immediately continue capturing on the next move, but you cannot immediately because the so-called captured piece is in front. Maybe I misunderstood the question, but perhaps you could give a specific example. If this has happened to you, and since we record all games, then refer to a specific game that you have played.

I can't review all the games, but I'll look for them when I have time.

Meikop and Tiidu are right. Pieces are only removed from the board after the shot is completed.

You probably don't understand what I'm talking about. I get a message that it's my move but I can't move because the button is in front and time is simply running out. This is a program error, because it doesn't pass the move to the opponent either.

You have a lot of these games. But maybe you remember who the game was against and whether it was international or Russian checkers or something like that. These things help reduce the number of games when searching for games.

Vint could make a game search engine. For example, if I'm looking for a specific game in chess and I also know the opponent I played with, it still takes 30 minutes. It could be like chessbase, where you either enter the position or the opening moves into the engine and a few games appear that aren't too difficult to review. That would reduce the effort.
