Hi! I thought it might be even more exciting to compile a summary ranking table based on the daily daily sudoku times. It is also possible to see the current day's and the previous day's ranking for different sudokus, but somehow the results of sudokus solved more than a day ago are not stored (are not available). For example, you might be interested in finding out (looking at) how many daily sudokus you have won or how many daily sudokus you have solved in total, how you have "developed" compared to others in solving daily sudokus, etc. I thought that for this purpose a summary table could be compiled at the end of each day (or updated in real time if possible). The table could contain, for example, the total points you earned on a specific day. The points are calculated as follows: * 100 points for first place in a specific daily sudoku. * The points of others are calculated: (winner's time)/(your time)*100 And then the points obtained for the solved sudokus are added together. So, every day (if you solve all the daily sudoku puzzles the fastest) you can earn a maximum of 9*100=900 points. I think that such a system would be quite fair and would also motivate you to solve all the sudoku puzzles to the end. However, if you don't like such a system, you could add place points with some weight or only take into account the 5 best results, etc. I will give a possible example based on the results of January 10th: Based on the results of January 10th, the best solver would be Barnie with 641.6 points (from 6x6 easy to 9x9diago_hard points 81.3 86.2 100 100 65.6 0 79.8 51 77.9). The table could, for example, show the number of daily sudoku puzzles still solved and the number of first, second and third places... Similarly, the total points could also be updated (monthly summaries, etc.)... What do you think, would such a ranking table make sense? Who else would be interested in something similar? Rauno

Very good idea, as an active Sudoku solver I would also be interested in something like this! Also, as a statistics enthusiast I think this table would make sense, but the question is whether anyone will bother to reproduce it -- let's hope so! ;)

I really like the idea. I especially like the system of calculating the points depending on the loss to the winner. I think there has been some talk about a summary daily Sudoku ranking a little earlier, it could be in some form, and the proposed option seems very appealing to statistics enthusiasts at least.

Hello, We will definitely make a daily ranking in the near future. Now the question is how and where to make summary rankings (by month, etc.). Also - how to see the results of your daily sudokus from the previous month and, for example, the best tournament results. In addition, we plan to bring sudokus of different shapes to the game. In conclusion - we will also change the game this year from the perspective of solving sudokus.

This is a good read! I think we should put the addition of card games on the back burner and focus more on e.g. sudoku and deal with card decks in the remaining time, but who am I to say that here ;)

...if someone doesn't feel like doing it, doesn't want to, or doesn't have the time, then maybe you can let Rauing do it, it seems like he has both the interest and the motivation! ;)

What's the news on this topic? :)

This is definitely something that could be added to the sudoku space and that I'm personally looking forward to. It would immediately make me want to solve it better. In addition, it would immediately show who was the best at sudoku on a certain day. A very good idea.

Haven't you taken the clone option into account? Surely some people have multiple users to enter under and win high places. No offense to the honest, but if there are some guys here who use dirty names for fun, then there are also those who are extremely cunning.

On his birthday, we'll bring up the topic and talk about how to make Vinti better for Sudoku solvers!
