Entering help numbers when solving sudoku

The solution could look like this: You right-click on the square. The square turns green, for example. Now, when you enter a number, this number will appear in a small corner of the square. And this way, you can enter 4 auxiliary numbers (in each corner). You can delete auxiliary numbers with 0 and the numbers will be deleted according to the order of entry. When you enter real numbers into the square, all auxiliary numbers will be deleted. This is how the solution could look like - you can also write auxiliary numbers in the corners when solving on paper. What do you think?
with both hands
Yes, that's fine. And then one more thing: sometimes a solution doesn't come out, can't it be so that I can see the right solution too?
Okay, I can't use it.

I see a problem here. This makes changing auxiliary numbers cumbersome. If I enter e.g. 1, 4, 5 as auxiliary numbers and want to delete 5 from there, I have to press 0 3 times and then enter 1, 4 again - a total of 5 presses. This takes time and is annoying and definitely increases the solution time. Wouldn't it be better and more convenient if deleting an auxiliary number was done in the same way as adding it: right-clicking and the number inserts the number, right-clicking again and the number deletes the same number. Logical and the number of button presses is also many times smaller.
Yes, it was intended that the last number entered would be deleted first.

This does not change the content of my story regarding the inconvenience/complexity of this solution for the user.
At the moment I'm not so sure about the need for help numbers anymore - I talked to Tiidu and he said that solving with help numbers and solving on paper (at the highest level) are different topics. Perhaps today's system best reflects the solver's ability to solve on paper. Perhaps it should stay that way.
Don't listen to Tiit, you need notes :)
