Aleksandr Volodin won the chess tournament series

Hello,

At the end of February, the chess tournament series Chess Against COVID-19 II ended on the vint.ee portal.

The tournament series was organized in cooperation with the Estonian Chess Federation , which also awarded cash prizes to the top five.

The tournament series lasted six weeks and included 30 tournaments. The overall standings were based on the results of the 20 best tournaments (tournament points).

Over the course of six weeks, 70 players played chess in the tournament series. Considering that only verified users were allowed to play, this is a very good result!

The tournament series was won by Aleksandr Volodin , who participated in 20 tournaments and won 7 of them.
Sander Kukk took second place with six tournament wins, and Ilja Haitin came in third, who managed to win 3 tournaments.
