Well - it's coming to a completely new platform that works on smartphones, tablets, Macs, allows you to make the game board bigger, etc. It will take about half a year to transfer all the games to the new platform. Let's start with Mindoku - we're trying to get the new platform working on Mindoku with one game (Othello) by the end of the year.
Please start by merging mindoku and vint. It seems to me to make the most sense. How to promote mindoku if there are no players there?
There are many separate games, chess portals elsewhere too. I have a forest on three sides and a computer where friends play. Does anyone know a public chess portal?

The new approach does not mean that all games are mixed up. You just choose a chess game, you are in a chess room, you only play chess (no one bothers you with Marinade or Three Fires invitations) and you don't know anything about other games.
It would also be good if Mindoku and Vint were merged, maybe then the points from Reversi (Othello), 4-in-a-row and those other games would also be added to the points table on our profile :)
Things are developing: http://blog.mindoku.com/2013/02/near-future-plans-for-mindoku-new-game-room/.
For those interested: You can see a new client in the Vint.ee test environment: http://www.test.nrock.eu/uus-klient/. The design (colors) are still in place, but in principle we will open such a room in Vint by the end of June (so the separate gomoku, sudoku and othello rooms will disappear). This platform should now work everywhere. I myself tried playing othello and gomoku with a Samsung Galaxy S3 (against the computer), it was pretty cool. There were a few miss-clicks in gomoku, but you have to practice. Sudoku cannot be solved on mobile at the moment - we need to think of a convenient solution: For example, you select a square with your left thumb, and a number with your right thumb (the numbers should appear as large buttons instead of the chat window). The chat room would disappear in the mobile client, but I guess it's okay - who really wants to talk while solving sudoku? Test it on your smartphones, tablets, iOS (anywhere where Vint.ee games haven't worked so far) and let us know what you think.
