Vint.ee turned 9 years old!

Hello, 9 years ago today, a portal where you could play checkers, chess, gomoku and video poker saw the light of day. Thanks to the Wayback Machine, which allows you to peek back in time when vint.ee was one month old: https://web.archive.org/web/20070323095635/http://www.vint.ee/. A lot has changed in 9 years. And everything is only getting better: Bringing Tuhande and Sasku to Vint has helped to significantly increase the number of users of the portal, the Mental Sports Olympiad brings more and more students to play chess and checkers online every year. Positive development also motivates the vint.ee team: In the first two months of this year, more work has been done on the development of vint.ee than in the last two years combined. The time invested has paid off in spades: 4-person perekidnoi and sasku tournaments are extremely popular. As a birthday present for our users, today, on vint.ee's birthday, we are bringing a thousand tournaments to the portal! We would like to thank all - both old and new - vint.ee users. Happy 9th birthday, Vint! :D What else has changed in 9 years? The main thing is of course the emergence and triumph of sudoku, that's why driv4rgi joined in 2012 ;) But we can't leave out the fact that TiiT, a checkers pro from 9 years ago, is now a sudoku pro! ;D
