Hello, This year, 421 students from 48 schools played gomoku as part of the Mental Sports Olympiad, which is nearly 70 students more than last year. The most gomoku players were from Tallinn Science School - 31. Let's summarize the results by age group. Primary School In the primary school category, 193 students from 33 schools played gomoku. With two stage wins, Rauno Lääne from Tallinn Lilleküla Gymnasium took the top spot, followed by Tallinn Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium students Mairon Moisto and Gren Hõbemägi. Tallinn Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium was also the best school, represented by 17 students in this age group. Primary School 206 students from 32 schools competed in the primary school category. Markus Ikla Tallinn Reaalkool won with full marks (four tournament wins out of four), followed by Ardi Raag, a student from the same school, and Karl Mattias Moor Nõmme Erakool. In the school category, Tallinn Reaalkool won, represented by 14 students in this age group. Gyümnaasium 22 students from 10 schools competed in the gymnasium level. With two tournament victories, Georg-Romet Topkin from Tallinn French Lyceum secured first place, followed by Kuno Kolk, a student from the same school, and Kristofer Lõhmus from Tallinn Technical High School came in third. In the school category, Saaremaa Ühisgümnaasium won, represented by 6 students. Medals and cups will be delivered to the winners in the first weeks of May!
