Hello,
Crossword solving was on the agenda for the first time at the Mental Sports Olympiad. We didn't expect a large turnout - crossword solving is not the most popular activity among Estonian schoolchildren.
We were extremely positively surprised that there were as many participants as there were in solving sudoku puzzles - 336 participants from 44 schools!
We have also received positive feedback from several schools - students enjoy solving crossword puzzles! So there are all the prerequisites that solving crossword puzzles will also be included in the Mental Sports Olympiad next year!
Let's now summarize the results of solving crossword puzzles by age group.
