Tournaments in Texas Hold'em

Hello, Texas Hold'em in Vindis is not ready. It took us about a month to get rid of all the game logic errors. We still have to make a default bet for new members in cash tables, animate the all-in "showdown" better. I've been a bit busy lately, but we'll get there. Let's talk about tournaments. My vision is: Cash tables and "freerolls" will remain in the game space. Max. rating limit in cash tables has also justified itself, I would leave the game space as it is. However, in Vindis there are tournaments in almost all games, could there be Texas Hold'em too? Creating a tournament would look like usual: you choose a time control and start time and minimum rating limit. This minimum rating limit essentially means the buy-in to the tournament. The options could be 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 25000, 50000 At the start of the tournament, this buy-in amount will be deducted from your rating. If you leave the tournament halfway through, you will lose it. If you leave when you have, for example, 100 stacks at the table, it will be divided between the 100 remaining players. The tournament will also start if there are 2 players. Prizes depending on the number of participants: 1 - 5 participants: the winner takes 100% 6 - 10 participants - the first place gets 75% of the pot, the second place 25% 10 participants - the top three will get 1) 60% of the pot, 2) 30% 3) 10% of the pot (will get at least their money back). To create tournaments, I need to rethink the server part of the code, separate the functionality of cash tables and tournament tables (the stakes will start to increase in the tournament table, just like in the freeroll tables). In addition, one of the difficult parts is moving players between tables during the tournament. You have to make sure that there is a more or less equal number of players at the tables. Until you can finally move everyone to one table. All of this will take some time, I can't give a deadline, but I'm working on it. I've also decided not to advertise Texas Hold'em more widely on Vind (FB campaigns) until the tournaments are in place and everything is working. Any thoughts?
In a tournament with 5 participants, only the first one is eligible. The second one should get 100% of their money back.

.. Triobet used to have a buy-in of 10 1 cents at the fifth table: 1st place 35s and 2nd 15s (and 5 cents to the owner). A one-table Sit&Go system would actually be good in general. Vint gives a so-called game table (5,6, or even 10), each participant bets a certain amount from their game credit and when the people are there, or the table is full, the game starts. Larger and multi-table tournaments are of course more difficult to organize/code and more difficult to regulate in terms of time, but 1 could be held per day, or rather, an official vint.ee tournament. It is of course very important to fix this so-called rating system, which in its current form is not suitable in a sporting sense.
Can points be exchanged for credit and vice versa?

When playing 5si, the first 70% and the second 30% of the pot would be very fair. However, at a 6si table, it could already be, for example, 50% 30% 20% And at a ten-table table 50% 30% 20% and 10%
Wouldn't it be easier and more sensible to do as Mr. Vakra did, take a poker tournament prize distribution system from somewhere, it works and everyone who has played poker at least a little is used to it and agrees, I believe it and I think that the initial buy-in could start from less than 500, I believe that the 50 norm would bring more people there too, and one more site could at least once a week bring the free rating to 1400, otherwise people will lose interest because it is not sustainable because you can see that there are 15 people with zeros in the room, but at the zero table you have to wait half an hour to get 6 together and if no new players come along, it will end with all the zeros being taken away and as you can see, very many will not restore their ranks either
I like playing here just as much, I believe that others do too, but considering that other sites refresh the game every few hours, many people may go there again to play. I understand that you want to make a profit somehow, but then you need to attract people here for free and make it possible to play tournaments on credit, from there you can already make money with rake. I believe that the more people you get here, the more paid tournaments will start happening.
Due to the gambling law, there can't be a chance to get money back, you can only deposit money! :D . Tournaments are the only way to maintain interest, but the current cash table system doesn't fit in there at all. A place points system can also be used to explain the ranking, as was the case in some card game series competitions. In the current system, a VIP should be able to start at least once a day with 1400 or some other amount, because compared to all other games, this holdem game credit cannot be called a rating in a proportional sense - it devalues the meaning of ratings in other games!
I didn't think that they would pay to withdraw money, but people would just play on credit so that after a month they could buy a VIP card, who wins? However, I think that if makeup is something you can do, you can collaborate with a casino so that the prize is a live ticket somewhere.
