Hello, This academic year, 437 students from 49 schools participated in the Sudoku solving tournaments of the Thinking Sports Olympiad. This is 54 students more than last year! The most Sudoku solvers (43) were from Tallinn Old Town Educational College. Let's summarize the results by age group: Elementary school. 188 students from 31 schools participated in the competition at the elementary school level. The winner of the competition was Kristjan Gontšarenko Graduation from School. Second place went to Kärt-Getter Rest Võru Kreutzwaldi Kool and third place went to Lisete Ilves from the same school. The best school was Tallinn Nõmme Gümnaasium, represented by 14 children in this age group. Primary School 159 Sudoku enthusiasts from 28 schools participated in the competition at the primary school level. Markus Ikla from Tallinn Science School won by one point. Gren Hõbemägi from Tallinn Old Town Education College took second place, and last year's third place was repeated by Tallinn Science School student Karl-Ustav Kõlar. In this age group, the best school title was won by Tallinn Reaalkool, represented by 14 students at the basic school level. Gyümnaasium 51 students from 14 schools competed at the high school level. All tournaments were won by one of the best sudoku solvers in Estonia (in the adult class) Anna-Brigita Topkin Tallinn Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium. Second place was taken by Kristjan Hansen Nõo Reaalgyümnaasium. Third place went to Karolina Lillemets from Läänemaa Ühisgümnaasium.
