It's almost time for a new year, and things will be done in a new way in the new year. At least considering the Sudoku Player of the Year tournament. The rules are as follows: • NB! To have a chance to win the title of Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year 2016, you must solve at least 1 daily sudoku every month! If you make it into the top 10 of the month and don't take part in the tournament of the given month, nothing will happen. The main thing is to solve at least 1 daily sudoku every month. • Each solved daily sudoku gives one point • Each first place achieved in a daily sudoku gives one point • By the 5th of each month at the latest, I will calculate the results and post the top 10 of the given month on the forum, who can take part in the tournament on the 10th. (In addition, after the end of the tournament, the current status of Sudoku Player of the Year 2016 will also be posted in the same topic). • On the 10th of every month (except January) at 19:30, a Sudoku(varia) tournament will take place, consisting of the following sudokus: 6x6 medium, 6x6 special-shaped medium, 9x9 easy, 9x9 diagonal easy, 9x9 special-shaped easy, 9x9 hard, 9x9 diagonal medium, 9x9 special-shaped medium. • The monthly tournament counts towards the previous month's ranking. (January daily sudokus February tournament, February daily sudokus March tournament, etc.) • To enter the tournament, you must be in the top 10 of the monthly daily sudoku rankings (solved won daily sudokus) among vint.ee users. • Points from tournaments are distributed as follows: o 1st place = 100p o 2nd place = 90p o ... o 10th place = 10p • Points earned in the tournament will be added to the previous month's daily sudoku results: Number of solved daily sudokus number of first places in daily sudokus points earned in the tournament. • After the tournament ends, we will calculate the previous month's winner based on this formula, who will immediately receive free VIP status for the first month. • To win the monthly prize, you must definitely (i.e. IT IS MANDATORY) take part in the corresponding monthly tournament (if you have made it to the top 10 in a given month) • From January to November, the no. 1 solver of each month will win free VIP status for one month. • To receive the first place prize for a specific month, the user does not have to have solved every month. In short, if the winner is someone in February, for example, who did not solve any daily sudokus in January, they will still receive free VIP status for one month, but they will not be included in the Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year 2016 table (see the first rule). • In December, after the end of the last tournament, we will calculate the results of each user (who has solved monthly) for all months - both tournament and daily Sudoku results, and we will find the Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year 2016, who will receive free VIP status for 3 months. (Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year = Daily Sudoku puzzles solved and won by the user during all 11 months tournament results (if the user has made it to the top 10 in a month) In summary: Every month someone wins free VIP status for the 1st month. To do this, you have to solve and win daily sudoku puzzles because only the top 10 solvers can enter the tournament each month. Every month there is a tournament for the top 10 solvers of the previous month, after which we find the best of the month. To get the title of Sudoku Player of the Year, you have to solve daily sudoku puzzles every month, but it is not mandatory to take part in a tournament of a month (although in this case the chance to win that month's prize is lost) if you have earned entry to it. The best solver based on the whole year wins free VIP status for 3 months at the end of the year and acquires the title Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year 2016. In addition: I am the organizer of the tournaments and I will mark them accordingly in the description (Vint.ee Sudoku Player 2016 - "month"). The prizes have been awarded this time by the Vint.ee team. The prize fund is once again larger than last year - 14 months of free VIP status. The new system was designed to give all vint.ee users the opportunity to win prizes throughout the year to give the overall winner a prize at the end of the year. The sentence "If you make it to the top 10 of the month and don't take part in the tournament of the month, nothing will happen." means that this will not affect becoming Vint.ee Sudoku Player of the Year. However, the chance to win the monthly prize will be lost if you make it to the top 10 of the month but don't take part in the tournament.

I wonder where my evening candy went? :/ Is someone's hairy hand in the game?! Anyway, I see that most of the extra points have disappeared from the post above (I think there are 3 left, 2 times after 1 and once after 10), so it's not bad :) But speaking of the tournament itself, last year I was eliminated in April, or the 4th month, this time the minimum goal is to hold out until at least the end of the year! ;) I'm not going to set any goals for the place right now.
