e4-e5 long move. yes, of course short I'll correct myself because it could cause misunderstandings and expose my stupidity

Fischer chess is different because of the initial placement of the pieces. That is why it must have a different rating than regular chess.

You can play chess here and I like this kind of rating system - yep

Quick comment: As long as there aren't 100 users online in Vindi's chess room all the time, dividing the chess rooms into multiple rooms is unthinkable. If we divide these few chess players into separate rooms, the chance of finding a playing partner will decrease even more significantly.

It's strange that MrQb finds it necessary to demonstrate his meager intellect more and more honestly: 1) participation in the tournament is strictly voluntary and requires going to the tournament room and registering, so there is no "problem of inappropriate challenges" in the tournament, which is the main concern of the topic initiator. The question was whether you can choose a time control of 1 minute for the game in the chess game room. No! It can be controlled in 5 seconds (ok, it may take Mr Qb 5 minutes due to his slow orientation and intelligence); 2) the entire internet is relaxed, no matter what time control you play. At the same time, chess with a short time control is educational without any doubt; 3) I have not made any generalizations, but I stated that vulgarity usually goes hand in hand with stupidity. That's how it is; 4) 2-minute chess plays a significantly smaller role in knowing opening theory than "long" chess. I am based here purely on my own example. Without ever having studied theory, I can withstand strong opponents much better in chess with a short time control. To demonstrate the achievement of success by deliberately making a bad move: what could be a better example than the only game between me and MrQb, which I just found: http://www.vint.ee/mangu-kordus/?game_id=5898653&game_type=2 As you can see, my second move is probably deliberately incorrect here, yet I build up a decent attack and by the end of the game (MrQb loses by time) I am already in a clear position to win. The chosen time control is 3 0, which raises the question of whether the boundary between chess and "not chess" is between 2 and 3 minutes for MrQb?; 5) this hampelmann hasn't even made it clear to himself what Fischer chess is, considering it "chess with extra move time"!!!; 6) I maintain that the analogy between sprinting and middle-distance or long-distance running is so distant and weak in this question that it would be embarrassing to comment on it further.

Upon checking, it turned out that the aforementioned game between me and MrQb ended not because MrQb ran out of time to think, but because he fled the table. Of course, without giving up or saying anything, as is typical of such low-intelligence bluffers and wisecrackers.

posted by metsapull Fischer chess is different because of the initial position of the pieces.
Sure. In my hampelman limitations, I thought maybe it was Fischer's time control. I've been to that room a few times, but I've rarely met any and haven't been able to play.
posted by Meikop .. 100 users online..
That's logical. There really aren't so many players that I can't remember who doesn't want to play with your proposed time control anyway. Although on the other hand, it could help if you could see from the room selection what mood someone is in for time control today. Because there are enough of these kinds of exchange of offers: "Let's play 5 2?" - "I give up.. Let's play 2 0?" - "I don't want to."

I have a help post on the wall and I can see from there what mood someone is in depending on the day of the week :)

I don't want to add fuel to the fire, but I agree with Hawkbrow 100% and MrQb's story is downright depressing to read. Logical thinking seems to be lacking in some people.

hawkbrow is the one who leaves a very negative impression here with his unjustified insults and belittling -- this is arrogant behavior! MrQb gave no reason for this, but hawkbrow started calling him stupid and demoting his intellect, etc. If someone thinks differently and you don't like it, then there's no need to start demoting him ;]
