I then let the AI analyze the text, based on the same text that I posted here in my first two posts, and write a respectful letter to the founding member (by the way, it was suggested by the AI itself!) as follows: Subject: Feedback on the planned AI-based moderation system
Hello!
I would like to share some additional thoughts regarding the plan to include AI in text analysis and speech bans. I am a long-time vint.ee user and care about this environment, which is why such technological changes worry me.
My main arguments against the system are as follows:
  1. Context and inner humor: Over the years, Vint.ee has developed into a community with its own established communication style, irony, and "insider" features. Artificial intelligence analyzes the text verbatim and does not understand the history between players. What seems like an insult to the AI may be a banter between long-time acquaintances.
  2. Specific user profiles (e.g. "Forest 58" example): We have users who consciously push the boundaries and use provocative language that is part of their gamer identity. If the AI starts counting "points" for these, we risk making the environment too sterile and losing the authentic excitement that keeps people here.
  3. Errors and "false-positive" results: The Estonian language is complex and full of nuances. AI can interpret innocent emotions (e.g., disappointment with one's own game) as rules violations. When a player receives an unfair ban due to a "machine decision," it creates a much greater sense of defiance and injustice than a punishment imposed by a human.
  4. The role of AI as an assistant, not as a judge: I'm not necessarily against technology, but AI should never be the final decision-maker. It can be a tool that flags suspicious places, but the final ban should still be decided by a moderator who knows the dynamics of the environment.
I fear that fully automated AI control could disrupt the immediate social atmosphere that is characteristic of vint.ee. I hope that these risks will be seriously considered before the system is fully implemented.

The AI's role here is to be an assistant and point out problematic areas. The Vint.ee team still checks all cases before imposing a ban!

Bog palm, don't worry about me, see how you can handle it yourself.
It doesn't matter if I get a ban, it won't be the end of the world in Latvia (I can still talk in the chess club and in shops) smiley )

Meikop! Unfortunately, that's exactly the point, that it's not the team that controls the topics, but still only 1 person, and in that case you could say it publicly! and linguistically, you're not the right person to decide what is good practice and what is not, even with the help of your ChatBot! You should first of all acquire the appropriate education yourself, or hire consultants who know something about Estonian!!

I can also have a corresponding AI analysis done to see if founding member Meikop is still a qualified person to make decisions in such a light, especially in this area regarding chat topics or language or harassing users with Jewish signs, etc., etc.!? If I submit such an analysis to data protection, there are many options, both legally and just on social media, for such a mentally terribly disturbing attitude and action towards a police state to be taken seriously and the reputation may be damaged.

bog palm, how can you not understand that Meikop won't change this?
You will have the opportunity to file a complaint with the relevant authorities using AI.

Mets! Meikop needs to change its attitude, because otherwise it is possible, as AI just suggested, that vint.ee's position will lose a lot and international action will not bring anything! Well, Meikop would have no problem showing verified users with a green light and leaving the username to the user's own choice - well, what could be more logical!! Some guy is a supporter of vint and even if he doesn't pay money, it's still cool, but the fact that the username is associated with a real name is as serious a crime as it once was during the Nazi era!!

Stop it, Meikop, with this invented, completely unacceptable system that requires a real person on this site to show their real name in connection with their username! Well, stop it!!

No amount of swamp palm can change that.
