Hello, This academic year, 691 students from 63 schools participated in the Mind Sports Olympiad checkers tournaments. This is 56 students more than last year! The most checkers (41) were from Tallinn Old Town Educational College. Let's summarize the results by age group: Primary School. 305 students from 42 schools participated in the competition at the primary school level. Equal points in the overall standings (290) were earned by Henri Mugur Tallinn Reaalkool and Karl Stefan Kivistik Jüri Gümnaasium. The additional criterion (sum of places) gave Henri Mugur first place. Armin-Ademar Tiido Tallinn Pääsküla Kool. The title of the best school was won by Jüri Gümnaasium, which was represented by 7 children in this age group. Primary School 332 students from 41 schools participated in the competition at the primary school level. First place was won by last year's primary school winner Priit Lokotar Tallinn Pääsküla School. Second place was won by Hans Robert Kannukene Tallinn Reaalkool, and third place was won by Kevin Kasik Viljandi Jakobson School. In this age group, the best school title was won by Viljandi Jakobson School, represented by 23 students at the basic school level. Gyümnaasium 56 students from 10 schools competed at the high school level. First place was won by Markus Hansson from Pärnu Koidula Gyümnaasium. Second place went to Hendrik Kuhi from Märjamaa Gymnasium and third place went to Rauno Valo from Nõo Reaalgümnaasium.
