The Estonian MV English Checkers Championship, which took place as part of the vint.ee Summer Days over the weekend, was won by Heinar Jahu. Defending champion Villem Lüüs came in second place, and Kaari Vainonen came in third place. 16 competitors participated in the tournament (14 men, 2 women). It should also be mentioned that the last time the MV English Checkers Championship was held was 17 years ago (in 1994). Back then, the order was reversed at the top: Villem Lüüs won, Heinar Jahu came in second. So the men have not forgotten the game during this time:) Vint.ee wishes the winner good luck and success!
