Hello, Today we are publishing a summary of the results of the gomoku tournaments. This academic year, 353 students from 54 schools played gomoku as part of the Mental Sports Olympiad. There were equal numbers of gomoku enthusiasts from both basic and primary schools - 162, and 28 students from upper secondary schools played gomoku. The schools with the most participants in the gomoku tournaments were Aruküla Primary School - 22. Results by age group: Primary School In the primary school category, Mairon Moisto from Tallinn Old Town Education College won, followed by Albert Pedmanson from Rakvere Old Town School and Jaak Andero Aasav from Tallinn 32nd Secondary School. The additional criterion (sum of places from tournaments) gave Albert second place, and Jaak Andero came in third. In the school category, the best was Tallinn Vanalinna Hariduskolleegium. Primary school In the primary school category, the best students were Tallinn Reaalkooli: Markus Ikla (1st place), Karl-Ustav Kõlar (2nd place), Ardi Raag (3rd place). Gymnasium In this age group, the world champion of gomoku youth Martin Hõbemägi from Tallinn Real School won a clear victory (winning all stages). Second place went to Georg-Romet Topkin from Tallinn French Lyceum and third place went to Kuno Kolk from Tallinn French Lyceum. The best school title was won by Saaremaa Ühisgümnaasium.
