The Estonian Football Association is discussing a referee’s personal matter. “Moiša, do you plead guilty to taking a bribe?” the president asks. “According to witnesses, you met with the owner of FC Flora several times and promised to help his team win for 10,000 euros?” “I plead guilty. But everything was fair! If something had gone wrong and the game had ended in a draw, the owner of Flora would have gotten half of the money back. If Flora had lost, I would have returned the entire money, plus another 1,000 euros for moral damage!” The president turns to the owner of Flora: “Has Moiša paid you back your money when your team has lost?” “Always!” “Okay, Moiša, your career as a football referee is over, you will never referee a game again for the rest of your life. But tell us a secret – what did you gain when Flora lost?” “No-no, Mr. President! Football is played by two teams!”
