If you have a 5/7 round chess tournament, these 2 rounds can be quite unpleasant.

Regarding being late: 1) If registered, as a regular user you can still participate from the 2nd round, as a VIP you can participate until the 3rd. 2) Unregistered (regular users don't participate anyway), VIP, be there by the start of the 3rd round at the latest, not the 10 minutes that, for example, can already be the 4th round in card games. A particularly annoying option is when a VIP "appears" in the 4th round (thousandth or sasku), goes crazy for 2 rounds, then doesn't participate anymore and "tickles" on for another couple of rounds - I believe that those who have played a lot of tournaments know this very well, except for Mets58, who is suitable for all variants of delay and extraneous possibilities :D It has long been suggested on the site about the breaks between rounds: 30 seconds can be reduced if somewhere in the middle of the tournament there is 1 longer break, depending on the number of rounds! Example: 11 rounds - the difference between rounds is 20 seconds, but the difference between the 5th and 6th rounds is 1 minute. It is especially disgusting in Holdem, where the whole world still takes at least a 5-minute break within an hour! The general principle could be something like this: there could be a longer break halfway through the total time of the predicted tournament, if the total time exceeds, for example, 45 minutes...
