Tarmo Tulva won the international checkers tournament series!

This week, the 6-week international checkers tournament series ended.
Compared to last year's tournament series , this year's tournament series was significantly more popular ( 346 credits were paid out as prize money this year compared to 250 last year).

The winner was Tarmo Tulva , president of the Estonian Kabel Union, who won 12 tournaments and collected 203 points.
Jüri Hermann took second place with 6 tournament wins and 192 points, and Uno Plakk came in third with 3 tournament wins and 178 points.

While last year at the same time we wished all checkers a nice summer and see you again at the autumn Russian checkers tournament series, this year we have a new type of checkers in the pipeline: Russian checkers with draw slots .
That's why we're organizing the first spring Russian checkers tournament series with draw openings . The format is also new: 4 tournaments per week and 5 weeks. The 15 best results will count!
