Is the rating history nowhere to be seen or have I simply not found it or is it only available in VIP accounts?
We have the rating history in our database.
We haven't made a user interface to view it because there hasn't really been any interest. If there are still people interested, we can make that interface too!

You could really make some kind of version, I'm sure many people would be interested.
For example, either numerically for the desired period of time at the end of each day or even for each rating change, maybe even (in addition) in the form of a graph. For example, a table tennis rating graph came to mind (by clicking on the player's name you can select "Graph"): https://eltl.ee/reiting
