Vint.ee and Vaadeldaja joint tournament series in chess

As a result of a joint project between Estonia's largest chess blog Vaadeldaja and Vint.ee, a series of tournaments will be organized in Vint from February to December, with a total of 11 competitions. A chess tournament will be held on the Vint.ee website in the last week of each month, and a points table will be compiled based on the results. At the end of the year, summaries will be made and the best players will be awarded. GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR THE SERIES 1. Time and place. Tournaments will be held on Tuesday of the last week of each month in the Vint.ee tournament room. The first stage will take place on February 23 at 8:30 p.m. 2. Participants. All registered users of Vint.ee can participate in the competitions. 3. Organization of competitions. The month-end series includes 11 tournaments, of which the best 7 will go into the final standings. Each tournament will consist of 11 rounds in the Swiss system, with a time control of 2 min 2 s per move. In the event of equal points, a progressive coefficient will be used. Registration for the tournament will take place from 20:00 to 20:30. Latecomers will not be able to play. Results and the series summary table will be posted in the Observer after each tournament. 4. Point system. 1st place – 10 points 2nd place – 8 points 3rd place – 6 points 4th place – 5 points 5th place – 4 points 6th place – 3 points 7th place – 2 points 8th place – 1 point For participating in the tournament, the competitor will receive 1 additional point. 5. Awards. The top three in the overall standings will receive Vint.ee diplomas and Observer awards.
